You will need your ticket for entrance, A student/essential worker ID for verification if you purchased a Student/Essential Worker Ticket, and A facemask as everyone 3 and older are required to wear a mask while inside the museum.
- I bought a student ticket but don’t have a physical ID, is that ok?
No ID? No problem! As long as you have some way to verify you are a student, you will have no issue entering the museum. This can been an online portal, an email from your school, or even a recent report card.
- If I am a student from another state/country, am I still eligible for the student discount?
Yes! So long as you can prove you are a student.
- Can I buy tickets at the door?

Plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early for your timed reservation.

Your reservation will start on time, so if you arrive 5 minutes late, you will have 5 minutes less in the museum. The same for 10 minutes and so on. If you arrive after you time slot is over, you will not be able to enter the museum and will need to reschedule for another day.

We are in compliance with ADA. That being said, about 75% of the museum is wheelchair accessible. We have an elevator that can get guests to our first floor which hold about 75% of the museum but unfortunately the second floor is only accessible by stairs. Due to the museum being in a historical NYC building, we are unable to build any lifts or elevators up to the second floor to accommodate any guests in wheelchairs.
